Qualifications:
Education / Experience:
* High school’s degree and 7+ years of relevant experience,
* Associate’s degree and 7+ years of relevant experience,
* Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, or
* Master’s degree and 3+ years of relevant experience
Clearance:
* TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
Requirements / Responsibilities:
* Practical experience performing information systems assessment and authorization (A&A) as defined in applicable ICDs and guidance
* Practical experience utilizing risk management strategies for information technology solutions
* Technical understanding of emerging technologies and their implementation within Government system and network environments
* Knowledge of information technology concepts used in the evaluation of security performance and integrity of state-of-the-art applications, communications systems, hardware, software, satellite control systems, and information processing systems
* Technical understanding of information technology systems, software, and networks
* Ability to effectively coordinate A&A activities of industry and Government information systems to meet acquisition milestone requirements
* Effective technical report and general correspondence writing ability
* Ability to manage and track systems or programs involved in the A&A process
* Experience developing and implementing security related directives and guidance for Information Assurance, Information Technology, and Information Management
* Experience working with a mixed level skill team to ensure that appropriate knowledge and skill transfer occurs

Satellite Systems Engineer (SE) Level 5
LV8D Solutions is looking for a Satellite Systems Engineer (SE) to support satellite vehicle engineering activities to include acquisition, design, development, manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testing of a major satellite program. This SE is an individual contributor and member of a team of high-performing Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) that directly support the Government through lifecycle systems engineering and management processes to deliver critical space resiliency capabilities.

Requirements / Responsibilities:
* Experience with space systems design, development, manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testing
* In depth knowledge of satellite mechanical design and analysis
* Assist the GPOC on managing and evaluating contractor PDRs, CDRs, and MRRs
* Review / monitor enterprise, system, subsystem, and assembly-level testing and verification / validation planning and execution
* Attend enterprise system, subsystem, and segment level design reviews and program management reviews to assess design maturity, requirements compliance and to provide informed technical recommendations to the GPOC
* Review test plans / procedures, test results, and test reports for completeness and accuracy, including compliance to approved plans, and provide feedback to the GPOC
* Support the customer in the oversight of subsystem hardware development, integration, and test activities at the Prime / subcontractor and associated vendor facilities
* Proactively identify and assess emerging technical and programmatic risks at the enterprise, system, and subsystem level and work with the contractor to develop and evaluate mitigation approaches
* Experience with the Intelligence Community (IC) and/or the Department of Defense
* Experience with IC architectures, spacecraft, and payloads
* Develop productive relationships with Prime / Subcontractor counterparts, functional counterparts, and other subject matter experts
* Track development issues, significant accomplishments, and upcoming events and provide weekly status updates, oral and in writing to the customer
* Author, review, and coordinate technical documents
* Ability to lead and be the primary point of contact for one or more projects
* Effective interpersonal skills (across multiple groups, offices, and organizations) and strong customer engagement skills
* Ability to communicate very technical subjects to a diverse audience of senior decision makers with varying levels of technical expertise
* Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and team environment
* Advise the GPOC on how to coordinate with internal / external community partners to identify technology gaps, design technology development plans, and execute technology projects / programs for successful transition into mission systems
* Provide support to acquisition, source selection, and programmatic processes
* Research and evaluate new emerging technologies for transition to space systems
